SRP Price Plans Explained (and How to Pick)
SRP powers most of the East Valley — Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and slices of Phoenix. As a public power district its plans work differently from APS in a few ways that matter: different peak windows, a monthly service charge on every plan, and a demand plan (EZ-3) with its own rhythm. This guide sorts them out.

Frequently asked questions
Is SRP cheaper than APS?
Often, but not always — SRP’s energy rates tend to be lower while its monthly service charges are higher, and you don’t get to choose your utility anyway: your address determines it. What you can choose is the right plan within your utility.
